If the dedicated server download i gave doesnt work, just create a listen server if you can, thats the only other way, you just have to run the game the whole time instead of just running dedicated.
the source link is to a Dedicated server for Halo. Should be usefull in the demo as well. worked, for me. but just for the maps etc/ that are in the demo.
